Jehove Jireh – God Provides

Saturday, July 2nd, 2011

June 15, 2010 Gerry lost his job and we went on unemployment. We did have some money in savings but only about enough to cover our bills for about three months. With unemployment we get about $1600 a month. Our regular bills before we pay our tithe, buy food, or do anything with our vehicles are $1,865. In the 12 months since we’ve been on unemployment we have gone to California to see family twice, Gerry went to Redding CA to go to Bethel; Sacramento, CA; Reno, Nevada; and Boise, idaho. He also went on the youth mission trip to Oakland, CA. We have not missed one meal. We have received more clothes than we know what to do with for Elli. She has attended dance classes, and music class. We have gotten new tires for both our vehicles and I had my air conditioner fixed. I have art supplies for Elli and for myself.

Gerry and a friend have partnered together and are trying hard to develop their design and construction business but up until now it has been a little slow getting started. We are seeing lots of good signs and they just signed a good contract that will begin to bring in some money.

During this entire year we have not gone into debt. We haven’t used credit cards nor have we asked for money from any one. God has been our Jehovah Jireh and he has provided abundantly for us. I am not going to say it’s been easy – there have been times when I wondered how we were going to be able to survive but God has always shown up with exactly what we needed.

We have a personal God.

Sometimes the simple moments are the most profound. We received this testimony from someone who has just begun attending the Summit.

I have enjoyed the last couple of services I have attended. God is so faithful to give us just what we need. I came into the service on Wednesday night heavy, dry and tired. During the song service the Holy Spirit began to minister to me in a most powerful way. Later you asked for those to come up that had felt the Lord in a phyical way but I did not come up. Then you asked for those that wanted more to come and recieve. I came forward. (I guess I was being just a little selfish).

During that time of imparting the Holy Spirit wash over me and I got a vey clear mental picture of what God was doing in me. I love flowers and I guess that is why God used this metal picture.

I saw a group of flowers bent and withered in the sun from lack of care and water. As I watched rain began to fall and I saw the flowers begin to soak up the moisture. As they did they began to plump up and their head began to raise slowly until they were totally transformed. Those flowers represented me in the spirit. Praise God, He is so faithful.

Ministering to the Homeless

Tuesday, April 21st, 2009

Denis went to Dallas to minister to the homeless. Here’s a report of what happened.

I went down to minister to the homeless of Dallas. We had around 40 show up for the service. We had them in a circle for prayer and I went around breaking the spirit of addiction off of all those in the circle.

There was one man who had been shot in the arm and was having problems moving his
fingers. I prayed for him and his fingers started moving better.

I took a friend, Tyrone, who had been a pastor before but had taken a back seat and was sitting out of the war. The minute we started praying Tyrone stepped up and began to pray for people and the Spirit of God hit him and there was real renewal of destiny. Tyrone will fulfill his
God given destiny.
