Jehove Jireh – God Provides

Saturday, July 2nd, 2011

June 15, 2010 Gerry lost his job and we went on unemployment. We did have some money in savings but only about enough to cover our bills for about three months. With unemployment we get about $1600 a month. Our regular bills before we pay our tithe, buy food, or do anything with our vehicles are $1,865. In the 12 months since we’ve been on unemployment we have gone to California to see family twice, Gerry went to Redding CA to go to Bethel; Sacramento, CA; Reno, Nevada; and Boise, idaho. He also went on the youth mission trip to Oakland, CA. We have not missed one meal. We have received more clothes than we know what to do with for Elli. She has attended dance classes, and music class. We have gotten new tires for both our vehicles and I had my air conditioner fixed. I have art supplies for Elli and for myself.

Gerry and a friend have partnered together and are trying hard to develop their design and construction business but up until now it has been a little slow getting started. We are seeing lots of good signs and they just signed a good contract that will begin to bring in some money.

During this entire year we have not gone into debt. We haven’t used credit cards nor have we asked for money from any one. God has been our Jehovah Jireh and he has provided abundantly for us. I am not going to say it’s been easy – there have been times when I wondered how we were going to be able to survive but God has always shown up with exactly what we needed.

Our first miracle report from Pastor Randy on his trip to Taiwan…

Headed to Taiwan on a mission trip we drove from Dallas to Houston to catch our first flight the next morning. After the Mavericks won their first NBA title I went to sleep so I could get up at 3:45am to catch the hotel shuttle at 4:30am. So this morning at 4:20am I arrived in the lobby to find Ramona, the desk clerk, sitting in the lobby. I began a conversation in which she informed me almost immediately that her foot was in pain. She informed me that she gets bone spurs but it had been a long time since she had had one. A strange thing to come up in a conversation except when you are on mission, LOL!

So, I told her that I was a Christian and sometimes when I pray for people they get healed. When asked if I could pray for her she said yes. I also asked her what the pain level was and she said it was ten.

I simply blessed her, thanking God for her and rel eased the Kingdom into her foot. Holy Spirit showed up and heat began to build in her foot. I asked if she felt the heat and she said she had felt it as soon as I touched her foot.

I then asked her to check it out and she got up and started walking and saying, “oh my gosh, oh my gosh,” which being interpreted means, “I am healed.” Bone spur and pain GONE!!!

It has already started. Keep praying. Taiwan is going to get rocked for the Kingdom and it’s King, Jesus.

Missionary Report from Peru – cancer healed

Friday, June 12th, 2009

The Summit gets regular reports from several missionaries that we support financially or through prayer. Here’s the latest word from Jerry Adams in Peru…

Last year I was ill on missionary assignment in Peru. I came home to go to a Doctor and was diagnosed with prostate cancer. We prayed and went home to Peru and I started to feel well. We just returned this year and went to the same doctors. They could not find any sign of any cancer. God is showing up and showing off!
